Whether you’re looking to refinance your existing home or purchase a new one, our team will walk you through the loan process from start to finish. We make the home buying process as smooth and simple as possible by communicating with you every step of the way.

Step One: Get Pre-Qualified

The first step in your home buying journey is getting pre-qualified. In this step, you’ll complete an application which is used to determine how much house you can afford and available loan options. To start your application today, click here.

TIP: A mortgage pre-qualification is a great thing to have when shopping for a home. It will help you and your realtor focus on homes you can comfortably afford.

Step Two: Gathering Documents

Next, we’ll need to gather supporting documents to validate the information you provided in the loan application. Once you sign off on the loan estimate, we will order an appraisal to make sure the loan value is sufficient for the purchase price.

Step Three: Loan Processing

Our loan processor will prep and organize your loan file to present to the underwriter. During this process, the loan processor will work closely with you, your loan officer, and third party vendors (such as title and escrow companies) to get all the necessary paperwork to fulfill the underwriter’s conditions.

TIP: Keep in mind, the loan processor may request additional supporting documents. It is important to supply the information in a timely manner.

Step Four: Underwriting

Our underwriter will review the loan application, supporting documents, and analyze the risk level of your loan file. The underwriter will make the final decision on whether your loan is approved or denied based on your risk level.

Step Five: Loan Closing

Congratulations, you’re cleared to close! Once the loan is approved by the underwriter, the lender prepares the closing loan documents. We will schedule a time to meet with you and the title company to sign all required paperwork. You have now finished the loan process and are given the keys to your new home!

TIP: Don’t forget to bring two forms of valid IDs to the closing table!
